The design and analysis of an Proximity coupled Inverted T-shaped microstrip patch antenna aimed at improving bandwidth and achieving dual-band operation. The proposed antenna utilizes a modified rectangular patch with an inverted T-slot to enhance impedance matching and radiation performance. The antenna is designed on an FR4 substrate with a dielectric constant and optimized using HFSS simulation software. Results show that the antenna supports dual-frequency bands suitable for wireless communication applications such as WLAN and WiMAX. Key parameters including return loss (S11), Z parameter, S-parameter, VSWR, gain, directivity and radiation pattern are analyzed, confirming the suitability of the design for compact and efficient wireless systems. Frequency is 5.24GHz of this design.
