As a result of increasingly automated procedures, the Internet of Things, and everyday activities involving mobile devices, the internet, and other ideas that have been made possible by technological advancement, businesses and individuals are becoming more and more reliant on technology. However, given how quickly technology is developing, cyberthreats pose a major threat that calls for constant, quick response. Both corporate and individual users of cyberspace struggle daily to maintain an appropriate level of security over their assets due to the persistent and growing threat that cybercrime poses. This study describes the correlations and patterns found in 4,785 attacks that have been executed globally in recent years, with the ultimate goal of outlining security remedies that businesses from certain industries may apply.
