Determining the locations of major metropolitan areas is crucial for urban planning, emergency response, and resource allocation. By combining the concepts of social systems and CPS, the authors of this paper propose a novel approach to creating CPS 3, or Smart Cyber-Physical Social Systems. Through the integration of sensor data, IoT device inputs, and social media analytics, CPS3 provides a real-time perspective on urban mobility. It looks at human behavior, going beyond infrastructure monitoring. It helps towns identify densely populated areas by looking at factors including ecological shifts, transit patterns, and population growth. When authorities have a thorough grasp of the issue, they may make informed decisions and manage urban areas more successfully. The third iteration of CPS3 is a proactive, rather than reactive, community that is smart, safe, and flexible.
