Landslides are very dangerous to people, property, and the environment, especially in mountainous areas, so it's important to have correct forecasts to stop them. New AI methods, such as deep learning and support vector machines, are used in this research to look at changes in topography, soil moisture content, and rainfall trends. Satellite imaging, LiDAR, and InSAR are also used as remote sensing tools. By automating pattern recognition, AI makes early warning systems and danger mapping better, which leads to more accurate risk assessments. Using both AI and GIS data together makes it easier to plan for and prevent landslides, make regions more robust, and encourage long-term land use.
